Now that WinHEC is over it is time to focus on the IT conference event of the year. Yes, WinHEC gets some cool announcements, but TechEd has the larger attendance. For support professionals this is “THE” event of the year and we are less than two weeks away from its kick-off. Microsoft will be giving in depth training and hands on labs of all the latest products.
This years the event is being held in Boston and includes a key note from Ray Ozzie the newest CTO to Microsoft who brought with him Groove. It will also include an exclusive trip to Fenway park, home of the World Champion Red Sox, to see the band Train perform live.
You didn’t sign up? Well guess what, it is already sold out and they have even closed the wait list due to high demand. Fear not, as we will have a number of our bloggers in attendance and will keep you up to date on all the happenings from start to finish. Minus any partying time…of course.
If you are attending here are some useful tidbits of information for you.
You can now schedule your sessions this is very useful and allow you to add them right to outlook and or any other calendar system you may use.
Don’t forget to bring any problem applications that you may be having issues with as Microsoft will have a team onsite to help resolve issues.
Want the latest schedule information or local information about Boston? add the TechEd 2006 MSN bot by adding - Teched06@hotmail.com as a contact to Messenger.
If you are attending and would like to meet with myself, Jeff, Jerry or any of the rest of us from Windowsconnected send us a PM or an email.
See you in Boston!
